My Story
My fascination with gardens started at the hands of my grandfather who taught me the skill of bonsai. This art form requires extreme precision and patience which happen to be two of the most important qualities of a landscaper.
It is said that to plant a garden, is to believe in tomorrow and I am passionate about making a difference for future generations and hence I believe that planting a garden is to give body and life to one's dreams of a better world.
After about two years of playing "bonsai master" in my spare time, I landed a position as site manager for Chrisné Myburgh, a qualified landscape architect and owner of Mustard Tree Landscapes in Pretoria. Under her expert guidance I acquired the necessary skills for landscaping.
As part of her team I had the opportunity to establish myself as a junior landscaper and completed courses in landscaping, irrigation, cladding and pruning.
After being in her employment for 18 months, I felt ready to embark on my own landscaping journey and started Coral Tree Landscaping in August of 2022.
Rachel Carson said that "nothing in nature exists alone" and it would be my privilege to help you create the garden you have always dreamed of.
